Experiential Dining

While not being a fan of Krisdayanti, I enjoyed my gala dining last night. It really gives me a chance to see that indeed, Earth had becomes Venus. How marketers brave enough to do some radical changes to the way they sells their product to further gives their customers a chance to interact. It is not a one-way selling anymore anyway.

Hey, who said that gala dining was always done with soft, easy-listening or classical music in the background? What I experienced was totally different! Upbeat music accompanies the waitress as they serve the food. And not just the easy way of serving, they made the food-serving process a-must-see show! Now, that’s what I say dining for your hunger and for your eyes too J. Given the fair amount of young professionals in the dining, I think they have made a right decision to do this radical way of serving the food by being not too strict and not too loose.

But what is experiential dining if it only came at the food-serving process? Thankfully, they really gives us, their customer, a fair amount of interaction, a chance to further enhances emotional bonding as from us customer and themselves as marketers. Is this a form of Marketing in Venus? I do think so.
